Warid launches new prepaid package

Warid Telecom on Tuesday launched a prepaid package that includes a Zem prepaid connection, Samsung C 160 handset and talk time of Tk 4,000.

The latest package is available at all business centres, franchisees, corporate sales points and designated sales points of Warid Telecom, said a press release.

Under the offer, a customer will get a Samsung C 160 handset, Tk 4,000 talk time and a Zem prepaid connection at a cost of Tk 4,999.

The talk time can be used for any type of voice and non- voice usage and will remain valid for 365 days after activation. Moreover, the unused talk time would be available after the validity period with any amount of recharge or reload.

Warid Telecom, a subsidiary of UAE-based Abu Dhabi Group, launched its commercial operation in Bangladesh on May 10 in 2007 as the sixth mobile phone operator.
